LVT glue down is a luxury vinyl plank that should be installed with glue on the backside of the plank because it has no click. There are dry back LVT and pre-glued self-adhesive LVT in the glue down category.
As an LVT flooring manufacturer in China, we offer a wide range of glue down LVT.
Professionals are needed to install the glue down but it is easier to replace than the floating flooring.

The base backing is to increase the friction between the floor plank and subfloor. The backing naturally with adhesive is a peel and stick flooring.
Installation

Acclimation
The flooring material should be allowed to acclimate to the temperature of the area in which it will be installed for at least 48 hours in advance. Acclimation allows the flooring to adapt to the ambient room temperature and humidity. It ensures that floating LVTs will not expand or contract beyond expected levels and that the adhesives used for glue-down LVT will have a chance to properly cure. Vinyl naturally expands and contracts with temperature changes and an acclimation period allows it time to recover from temperature changes experienced from transportation from retail store to consumers home.
Prepared Subfloor
Remove any items which may damage the flooring plank during installation. Floor substrates must be dry, smooth and clean. A well-prepared subfloor is important for good installation because the wrong type can telegraph through the new floor.
